Under the Lens: Innovation at the Fair

At the 1893 World’s Fair, electricity lit up the fairgrounds. Inventors like Edison and Tesla competed in a bidding war to determine whose patents on electricity would light the fair! Join us as we host author Kristen Iversen to explore the electric details and innovations of the fair.  

The Under the Lens Series, in conjunction with The World is Changing exhibit at the Molly Brown House Museum, will explore world-changing topics in four programs from May to September. Each Under the Lens ticket includes snacks and a beverage; adult beverages are available to those 21+.
